St. Louis, MO- When Shirley Cooper was asked to put a $5 million deposit into a checking account, she thought it was a joke.

Then she saw the weapon.

"Initially I was shocked. Then I thought to myself, what a jackass! Does he think this is some secret Swiss bank account? When he filled out the deposit slip I had all of his contact information instantly. I scribbled 5 million on an old account statement and handed it over. To my surprise he said thanks and then ran off."

State police quickly apprehended the suspect, Ernie Dawkins from his St. Louis apartment. Dawkins had apparently been bragging to neighbor's how he beat the system and was going to be moving out soon.

Dawkins commented to the media in between squad car rides that he, "didn't want to get sprayed with a dye pack that they always put in the bags."

Dawkins is awaiting his court date set for October 13,2010.
