A difficult time

I've been working but definitely less efficiently. There are some issues about where to be etc that are really slowing me down. And a non-helpful pressure to finish work on which I believe I am already doing as much as I can. Also spent time re-looking at academic programs in my field, as it sure would be lovely to have a PhD tailored to my interests rather than the smattering of masters and other graduate and post-graduate study that I have (actual graduate degrees in literature, education, work in history, philosophy, anthropology). However, though things have definitely improved, nothing matches my interests enough to merit the time and expense. Another, highly frustrating problem is that anything remotely close to my interests involves learning another language or two that are in writing systems I find almost impossible to actually see with my vision problems. Perhaps I can just extremely magnify everything and take it slow if necessary. And try another eye doctor! Hopefully all will be on its way to resolution soon.
