FILM OF THE WEEK

THE CONVERSION (1974)
Directed by FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA
Written by FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA
Starring Gene Hackman, John Cazale, Allen Garfield
113 minutes

Half way through - gonna watch the rest of it now. Simply loving it. Perfect for my research on evesdropping. There is a great scene at the beggining of the film which illustrates Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) as a happy loner. After work late one evening he comes home to an empty house, puts on a jazz record and improvises along on his (tenor) saxaphone. It's really quite beautiful.
