summer. day thirty two.
well i'm pretty happy to inform you that i've had a lovely past couple of days:) saturday was dizzys birthday(L) which was good because she came over on the saturday to pick up her presents &then back on the sunday &we had a nice day doing whatever we did. yesterday i went to see courtney in anstey &we had a propeer long catch up &it was lovely. &i also took maizy for a walk &started reading pride &prejudice. wooooooooo! tomorrow/later today i'm going to go over to jasmines house &we're going to go get pizzled. which will hopefully be fun! &then thursday i'm going to eat my way around her fridge &cupboards &pantrythingy:) &then friday i might be babysitting abbi but i don't know yet. my mummy &daddy are going on holiday on friday for their anniversary.. which is quite handydandy really because todays 'topic of the day' is...
my parents.
i was actually abit hesitant of this blog, because although they mean the world to me, i honestly am stuck on what to write. i guess i'll start with who they are?;)
my mum is Lyn Geraldine Freeman. her birthday is on the fourth of january, which is always the day after or the day that we go back to school so its rubbish. she has gingey-browny hair at the moment, but naturally its a really pretty mousy-brown. she wears funkydunky glasses, although i still think she should get her deirdre barlows out again &bring back the trend! when i was younger, i always got on best with my mummy, because she'd let me go to sleepovers &buy me magazines &i got three pound a week pocket money! woooooooooo! she was a sunday school teacher once! but she works at the general l'opitalé at the moment, &before that she worked at the one in coventry &before that she worked at the royal for a little bit &before that she worked at glenfield. she's very popular in the world of l'opitalés! everyone wants her!:) i'm not actually massively 100% on what she does though? she's a manager person to the cleaners as far as i'm aware. so she gets to tell people off for being naughty &boss lots of people round all day long!:) my mum is very caring &kind &really nice. she lets me wear her old fleeces that still smell of her perfume which smells mumsie &she buys me wicked socks whenever we find some when we're out shopping. she cooks for me &my daddy every night &does a big yummy sunday roast for us all everyweek. although she has quite weird tastes in music for a little old lady (like FLO-RIDA?! hahahahaha) &her hugs are always silly one-armed shenanigans, i think she's pretty darn ace.
my dad is Stephen Colin Freeman. his birthday is on the fifteenth of september. he has dark greyish hair &a moustache. wooooo! he grew it when he was in the royal marines. &when he came home, someone in his family (i think it was an auntie) went 'why have you got a caterpillar on your lip stephen?!' this never ceases to amuse me. i always complain about his tache, &it does add about ten years to his general appearance. but i secretly like it. taches are way out of fashion now so he's like the only person in the world to have one &it makes him unique!:D right now hes a boring accountant. but with a massive twistwhatsit because he teaches some type of accountancy at loughborough college &he also has his own teaching-bussiness thingy &goes to a hotel in town every weekend &teaches all the weirdos that think its a fun subject. hes real good at this teaching malarky though &all his students pass all the time &he waves his hands about like a windmill when he explains things so it can be awfully amusing. he was a painter &decorator at one point too, so when he actually gets round to it, hes good at painting the house all pretty. when i was younger i didn't actually get along very well with my dad. we argued alot alot. &there was this one time when we spent like a whole week being so mardy with eachother, it was awful. my dad has quite strong views about like. parenting &rules &stuff, &when i was younger i used to constantly try my best to 'disobey' these rules. lets be honest, i was a little bit of a shit. but as we've both got older, he's definately got alot softer &we're actually really quite close now. he drives me to college every morning which is really good because we always have a big long discussion about something or another. hes quite laid back when it comes to me going out &stuff like that, because mummy does all the 'whereareyougoingwhoareyougoingwithwhattimeareyoucominghomemakesureyouringmetomakesureyougetthereokay' business. hes abit tight money wise though. but whos dad isn't?:') even though he never tells me, i know he loves me. im obviously the favourite;)
mum &dad have been married for everso long now, something ridiculous like 26 years? i dunno, i'll find out for sure tomorrow. i dont really have any plans in the way of marriage, but i'd like to think if i ever did get married, we'd stay together just like my mum &dad.
