my weekly roundup #1

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
In a world flooded with endless news, products, images, etc. I often find it hard to sift out things that are of value to me. Things that really stand out to me and that really make me go WOW (imagine me emphasizing the ‘-OW’ in WOW – because that’s how I say it aloud when something is really W-O-W).

“my weekly roundup” will be a regular post in which I share a list of things, (e.g., articles, products, websites, brands) that I thought were highly intriguing, highly innovative, highly aesthetically-pleasing and/or highly meaningful (to me) in the past seven days. The post is also an attempt on my part, to keep all the worthwhile things I've come across online in one place - with the click of a label - if I ever want/need to refer back to it.

  • Marc Jacobs F/W 2010 Ad Campaign. Shown above. - Because I've always enjoyed Marc Jacobs' Juergen Teller-collaborated ads but I enjoy them even more when I enjoy the actual pieces as well.

  • How Will You Measure Your Life? (Harvard Business Review blog) - Because it never hurts to gain another perspective (especially one who is a Professor of Business Administration at Harvard) on how to achieve a happy work-life balance.
