Pft… and you thought the Dual-Core 1.2 GHz Processor on the unknown HTC was fast. Qualcomm has made a new Snapdragon Dual-Core 1.5 GHz Processor, and it’s expected to ship at the end of the year.
It’s called the Qualcomm Snapdragon Dual-Core QSD8672 (Sounds like a computer CPU, doesn’t it), and it’s said that it’ll find a home in high-end smartphones, tablet PCs, and even low-cost laptops. Each processor will be clocked to optimize the battery life and performance, and will support 1080p full HD playback, DDR2, DDR3 and HDMI components. There’s also quite a good chance it will ship late this year, but if not, early next year.
Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time ‘till Christmas, but there better be lot’s of things on your ‘Nice list’
