Vacancy for a “Websphere Commerce TL/SSE” in the Technology Department/Karachi

In line with Internal Job Posting (IJP) process, our Technology department is
seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with the passion to deliver,
have a ‘can do’ attitude and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
As a part of the Storefront team, the incumbent will be expected to work on
Websphere commerce customization, inbound/out- bound web-services, optimization
and troubleshooting.

Qualification required

· 5+ years of development experience.
· Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or an
equivalent degree in an appropriate discipline.

· Extensive experience in Websphere Application Developer and WCS
including installation, administrating and configuration (Websphere 5.0/5.1 and
later versions)
· Experience in web application development using Websphere Commerce
Servers 5.x/6.x/7.x, Websphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD) and Websphere
Application Server (WAS) and J2EE technologies such as EJB, JSP, Struts,
Servlets, JDBC, Java and.

· Experience in installing, configuring and administrating Web servers
such as IBM HTTP server, Apache and IIS is plus.
· Good knowledge in Relational Databases including DB2 UDB 7.2, MySQL
and SQL Server 2000 using all types of JDBC drivers is plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for the development of an ecommerce shopping cart with
WebSphere Commerce Server
· Responsible for building application extensions and integration
modules and schemes for WebSphere Commerce with third party services and
systems.
· Enhance, modify, and repair existing code.
· Participate in and provide input into the design, re-design and
development of technology products and applications
· Lead root-cause analysis, communicate options for resolution and
provide recommendations to customer-facing technology problems
