I have been so busy with uni work and it still isn't over. However I though I'd post a link to my favourite ever tv memory. My mum, brother and I sat down to watch this episode of Pingu one Christmas when I was 4. It wasn't an ordinary Christmas, my mum had just come out of hospital after having her appendix removed and she had a bad reaction to the general anaesthetic and nearly died. When mum was out of hospital we sat down to watch this episode of Pingu and after all the worry and stress laughed so much we nearly cried. In my memory it was the turning point when things started to get happier and more normal again.
Oh and when I found it on youtube me and Mum watched it again and she remembered it and told me how it was the first time she remembered laughing after her ordeal. Who'd have thought a funny little penguin could stick in our mind for 17 and a half years?
