3)   the 1999 GSX is probably the fastest. It is turbo with 210hp and AWD. The 2000s only have NA 205HP, not much, but combine that with the GSX's turbo& AWD... - evaohell

4)   the fastest eclipse is the 4 cylinder GSX. in stock condition and in perfect order, it can do 0-60 mph in about 5-6 seconds. it takes a lil' over 13 seconds 2 do a 1/4 mile. theyre rare 2 find 4 a reason bcuz ppl crash them trying 2 find out if thats really true! - Brian

4)   No. Because the drivers tend to be d.bags. Plus most are in their 20's and chicks around this age are entering their "you don't drive a bmw?" phase. You don't really buy a sports car for loose women you buy it to put other drivers in their place. At least that's why I drive one.

Insurance on a mitsubishi 3000GT for a 17 year old?...  I have a 2000 ford mustang V6 and i am wanting a 3000GT/dodge stealth.Would insurance be the same or less for me? I only want the base 3000gt, not the turbo one.

2)   High price. If you are getting insurance on your own, expect to pay $150+ a month. It's cheaper to get it with your parents. - Henry V

3)   Depends on the insurance company. Considering how the mustang was a newer model vehicle, the insurance would be higher. The 3000gt should be slightly cheaper due to the year, since they stopped production in the states in 1999. An don't forget to mention, like you said is a base model, which will help in determining the annual insurance cost since there are less accessories on the car such as (sunroof, fog lights, upgraded rims, etc..) but also may not have as many anti-theft or safety features as well. - 3000GT of Va
