Leadership of WP product marketing activities for North America, represents Product Marketing in the region and shapes and drives activities for the success of WP product launches in USA / Canada. For own program, crafts consumer value proposition, messaging and positioning for the products in scope. Drives product marketing activities to deliver compelling and differentiating promotion and product positioning according to the consumer value proposition. Leads product launch planning with strong consumer focus. Ensure effective program management of a cross-functional team incl. Interfaces throughout North America SU and LSUs. Key responsibilties:

Product marketing planning
•Define and test the consumer value proposition and driving product marketing as a part of the launch planning (promotion P). Ensure consumer value proposition is consistent across touchpoints
•Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
•Develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
•Work closely with the Marketing team to create compelling campaign briefs and 360 marketing plan based on the consumer value proposition
•Plan and drive the product lifecycle to support consumer dialogue and active usage during Solution ownership and to retain consumers
Launch program planning
•Ensure that Nokia products are launched and sustained in the best possible way to maximize business and brand results while achieving the desired strategic market impact through the entire product lifecycle
•Ensure timely and high quality deliverables of each launch program
•Provide consistent and clear tracking & reporting on launch program status and results, and actively flag any gaps or deviations in the status
•Build a professional risk management plan with action plans to mitigate the risk. Proactively assess and address the impact of changes
Leadership of a cross-functional program team at the global level and work closely with the SU and LSU teams
•Lead global product launch planning with involvement in cross-entity teams, channel and geography teams
•Create and lead the cross-functional team according to Nokia values and inspire the team to perform to their best ability
•Ensure active communication flow and efficient practices within the program (horizontally and vertically)
Qualifications


Understanding of marketing touchpoints, marketing communications objectives and consumer needs/insights, with ability to integrate these elements into a holistic product marketing plan.
Excellent presentation, process and project management skills.
Strong commercial understanding, including business case creation, competitive analysis and business modeling.
Very good understanding of Nokia's complete offering and what it takes to bring them to the market (channels, trade customers, consumers).
Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field required. Masters preferred.
Minimum 10 - 15 years experience.
