The Art of Kanzashi Flowers

I finally got the chance to try to learn to make my own Kanzashi flowers! It's an old, well-preserved art that still exists in Japan, involving the creation of exquisitely styled fabric flowers out of textiles. It's amazing how many designs and looks you can actually come up with. There are not many professional Japanese Kanzashi masters out there in Japan, let alone foreigners.

I'm a beginner. I'm a crafter. I did not take up the skills through professional training.

Still...
