BOOK Bag

So I was awoken in the middle of the night a few weeks ago with this idea that I could not get out of my head. I love bags and so does my daughter. She also loves books, as do I. And so I got this idea for a different book bag- a bag that actually looks like a BOOK. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep and had to go into the kitchen and find some paper to sketch out some plans.

So, it took me a few tries to get it how I wanted it but here is the final result.

(I know it's hard to tell from this picture but the bottom and sides are made to look like the pages of a book).

I also made it open like a book from the front. It has a secret page inside where my little girl can hide some trinkets and other things.

I really am pleased with how this turned out. And she loves it. She even had to take it to the library on our last visit and was oh so upset that her picture books were too big and would not fit inside. I think this will end up being one of those go-to toys/bags that she can play with in church and in the car.
