GOOD MORNING... at 6 a.m.

Okay so while it turns out I am not a complete moron at 7 a.m., I still think morning meetings are just a smidge painful (other then the yummy breakfast of course, that's always great).

See, last Thursday at 6am I was up and out the door by 6:45am in order to be at a club meeting for the Salmon Arm Daybreak Rotary Club. The meeting was quite enjoyable - it is always nice to meet a new club and see how they organize their meetings.

For my presentation, I focused on two major themes: 1) introducing myself and how I got where I am today, and 2) the scholarship details and how I will be using it.

The presentation was a lot of fun to give. I found the club very bright eyed and bushy tailed - the brightly lit room was probably helping us all wake up some - which made the talk quite engaging as I could sense the interest level of the group. Fortunately, we all seemed to enjoy ourselves so that was a great start to my day!
