- 4 cups of diced tomatoes
- 1 whole garlic peeled and chopped
- 2/3 cup of diced onion
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil
- 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- parmesan cheese
- pasta
Saute the onions and garlic in olive oil until golden. Pour onions, garlic, and diced tomatoes into saucepan. Remove basil from stems and cut each leaf in half. Add basil to saucepan and allow sauce to simmer for 30 minutes. Cook pasta and set aside. Add sauce to pasta. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
