i already put some fall decor up..

is that wrong?

so i went to that flea market like i said. but it sucked. so i refuse to post pictures. the antique mall was good and the time i got to spend with shannon and the captain d's was good too. still.. no pictures.

and then this last week i went to north carolina to visit my aunt (my mom's twin brother's wife) and her three girls a.k.a. my cousins. all of them have names that start with 'k'.

the trip was fun. it's funny to me to be surrounded by all girls, cause i've usually been surrounded by a mixture of boys and girls. we crammed a lot of activities into a few days. here's some pictures for ya!

here's us girls.. kelsey is 17, kaley is 14, and kara is 11. such funny ages. kara cracked me up all week long! all the girls were excited to see us but she was exstatic! she texted aunt kathy when we got there (she was not at home) and said "i'm so happy i could throw up!" i love preteens and how dramatic they can be! she's so modest and if you know me at all, well, i am not. so i got a big kick out of that.

the first whole day we were there, we took the boat out.. it was an adventure. we ran aground 3 or 4 times. and then kathy and her brother in law (who came along to drive the boat) got caught in the current and had to be rescued by some other people who were luckily on the same little island as us.. crazy!

the next day after all the chaos, we decided we should just drive to the beach and sit on land.

it was much less eventful :)

overall it was a good trip.. we were pooped at the end of it though.. one of the best parts (for me) was on our way back home we got to stop in knoxville and i got to visit with some of my friends. i really do miss them all. but then again, they're in class and i'm sitting on the couch eating marshmallows, so i better not complain too much..

this blog entry feels really random to me.. i promise to get back on track soon.
