Just My Luck!

I cannot believe this, but this is actually happening!

I'm repelling technology in every form- the universe does not want me to see the face of a computer anymore! Last night, I went home and took out my laptop to do some work, and it showed drained battery. I plugged in the power cord and tried to turn it on again, it did not budge. I was too tired anyway, so I did not bother too much, just let it still remain plugged to power, and slept off.

I came to office in the morning and turned on my desktop here. It did not budge. It still ain't budging! Something with the CPU. I'm like okay, I'll use this other-friend-of-mine-who-ain't-here's desktop. I switch it on. The monitor is not getting detected! I play around with all the screws and everything, it just doesn't work.

I'm like, I still have Charminar to go to (eBay naming conventions :D Its good fun actually!!) I go to Charminar, put my bag there and go to drink water. In that two minutes of break between putting my bag there and coming back with a glass of water, someone has occupied the place and is holding an hour long meeting there! Bad luck strikes!!

After an hour, I finally get to access the room, and I switch on another friend's system. It says "Keyboard not found"!!Blooody hell!!!

I move to the next desktop, and on this one, I see the CPU show the yellow light, the monitor lighting up and the keyboard making the beep sound. I'm hopeful and happy. Things get booted and I can see my mail and everything. I plug in my HDD to do whatever work I can possibly do from this system. And guess what!?!

My HDD does not get detected!! I'm having one helluva day. I'm repelling technology :
