Here's one of my first vinyl rips, Vance Or Towers. I have to thank Scott Steward for bringing this record to my attention. Funny enough I had already heard them without knowing it. They were the band playing during the prom scene in Carrie. Glen Vance OR Michael Towers, only released this one album in 1975 and it's sorely unknown. I don't know who to compare these guys to, maybe early Alessi Brothers or 10cc. It's almost roller rink rock at moments, or proto glam, and the ballads could be early Air Supply outtakes. Listen to 'Over The Hill and Back' it's my favorite song, with it's folky late summer sound, unlike most of the album, but not out of place. I hope you guys guys enjoy Vance Or Towers.
