MIRPURKHAS: Hrasment and fear spread out when unknown persons threw hand grenade in the house of manager of Ahmadis state Nasimabad, near Kunri, police took it in custody and bomb disposal team diffused it, panic persist yet, here on Tuesday.
According to Chaudhary Nasir Ahmed who is manager of Mirza Saleem Ahmed, member of Anjuman-e-Ahmadia, Ahmadi state Nasimabad, when he got up in the morning on phone call, he received from cell number 03366972382, a man introduced himself as Jaffar Keryo, and threatened him that today he would throw hand grenade in his house, if he failed to pay them 2 million he will be targeted with rocket launcher.
He informed police and police found one unexploded hand grenade in his compound wall. He aded that he has no enmity with any body and demanded protection from government.
Inspector Khurshid of bomb disposal team Mirpurkhas told that hand grenade was of one kilogram, if it went off it could harm a lot, its pin was released and was hit on target slowly so it could not explode.
