Pat moves in!

We have a new baby doll in the house that we picked up at a garage sale the other day.  This is Ivy's first baby doll and she was so excited that she hugged and kissed this little baby all the way home.  Ivy loves her new baby and I helped her dress it and add the shoes that she picked out.  When we took a picture of the two together, she was thrilled. 

 

It didn't take long for Jason and me to start making fun of this new baby.  It is funny looking.  Scary-looking.  And creepy in so many ways.  We had a hard time naming it because we couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl.  So we named this androgynous creature, Pat.  We were happy for Ivy and glad she has a new friend.

 

But things soon changed.  Pat started to walk around here like he owned the place.  It was strange.  Annoying.   

Pat eavesdrops on our conversations.  

Pat has taken over the remote and will only watch Brett Favre.

It's impossible!

When Brett Favre isn't on, he hogs the computer and watches youtube.  I just caught Pat watching a Big Soft Curls Tutorial and then a terrible clip called "Bad Mouth Kids."  It's ridiculous. 

Ivy loves Pat and we've tried to be accepting of her new friend, but it may have been the final straw when we caught Pat stealing beer from the fridge and putting it in the baby bottle before Ivy fed him.   I'm afraid Pat's going to have to go.
