Dhivya, her cousin and their friends came to pick us up. We had 3 Suitcases each and a hand bag. Luckily there were three cars, and i got into the Toyota Prius with Varun, My Sustainability career has started here... I hope so..
The First day we had a awesome dinner. I just so happened that one of my Friend's friend's friend is arranging a dinner party that night. The menu had Chicken Biriyani, Chicken 65 and Gulab jamun. Everybody in the party said, "You guys are the luckiest, many have been starving for this food". That was the second nice part of my welcome at Tempe.
The Third good thing was, I joined the Hockey club in just two days after reaching here and i played in a flood lit stadium. Yaayyy!! The players are very nice, they even come to my home and take me for a ride to the stadium. Riyaz is the hockey coach(kind of),
Then i went to the Music hall, played piano, there is a swimming pool to cool my day. Is this the place where i am going to find my Destiny? Everything seems just in place. Except..
The placements here.. It has been horrible, and i don't think i will get a Graduate Assistantship or an on campus part-time job soon. :( My school is the largest school in the USA with 67,000 students, where the hell will i get an on campus job?
