This world spins faster and faster..

Sorry for the delay between blog posts! It's been a crazy past few weeks. Camp Rivercrest ended summer camp smoothly, and the next day I drove to Wyoming to see a friend and then work at a camp out there for a week. It was different, and it gave me a chance to pour Christ's love to some kids that needed it. Then from Wyoming I drove to Denver to hangout with some friends. Then to Divide, Colorado, for a wedding rehearsal and then a wedding of 2 of my friends. Being in the mountains again was such a humbling time for me. It'd been 6 years since I'd seen them last, and it was great to see the beauty and majesty of God's creation!

From Colorado I made my way back to Omaha for a few days- working at camp for a few afternoons before finally going home to my parent's house for a few days. I did my best to just relax after the long summer, but its hard to do that with the busyness that the fall has already brought. I came back to Omaha on Saturday, just in time to practice with my band on Sunday before our show last night. I am so thankful to have 2 great friends playing with me, and it was neat to see how our talents meshed as we played in front of a great crowd! It is easily the best show I've ever played, and I hope to have many more like it! God is so good, and he always provides!

As I sit here at my computer, I'm not sure I'm ready for the semester to start. It's gonna be crazy, its gonna be busy, but one thing will stay the same: God is good and His grace is enough. I'm looking forward to seeing what adventures he brings me to, what hoops I have to jump through and what trials I'll have to overcome in this last year of college.

Be watching for more shows in the future, and stay strong in the Lord!
