Vlingo

The other day I was thinking safety and thought what apps are avaliable under this category and then while surfing the AppStore I came across vlingo which had a promising start as the description said about being able to update social networks facebook and twitter txt and email aswell as search the Internet

So I downloaded and tested first I tried searching the net with bing I pressed the big button that says " press & speak " and I spoke clearly and nothing so I spoke louder and it started searching 'ping' which I did not say
So after that failed attempt I thought I will txt my partner using it ,this feature had been disabled in the free version so then I went to update my facebook and came across the same problem as searching bing but this time I got this warning message

An app that is ment to be able to do these things while your driving should NOT come with these messages
We also don't recommend this as it is illegal in the uk and also dangerous to yourself and other drivers
Now I don't usually do this but I strongly recommend not gettin this app it's a complete waste of time and memory on your phone

However if you get It you can try and bing the strangest stuff the voice recognition software isn't perfect bu it's funny when it gets it wrong so based solely on that I would give 2/10
