How to Activate Vodafone GPRS

 

 
Many Vodafone users don't know how to use the GPRS service provided by them.So I will tell you about each and everything GPRS.

Vodafone GPRS service is really good and true value for your money.Browsing and downloading speed is unbelievable.You will get an average speed ranging from 20kbps-60kbps.Browsing speed is also comparable to Mobile Broadband Services such as Tata Photon+ and Reliance Broadband.So here is how to activate and use GPRS service.

1.Recharge your number with Rs21 recharge.Note:Your internet will work for 2 days for this recharge as shown in this post.

2.It may take about 1-2Hr for the activation.

3.Here are how to setup your Nokia phone for settings:

• Go to Menu>Settings> Configuration >Personal Configuration.


• Select Options>Add New>Web.


• Give any account name you want,& any Homepage address,eg. www.google.com


• Use pref. access point>No


• Access Point Settings>Bearer Settings>Packet data acc. pt.=www and activate the settings.


• Now again goto Personal Configuration>Add New>Access Point>Account Name=www and activate it.


• Now you are almost done.


• Switch off your phone,remove your SIM card and insert it again.


• Use Nokia PC Suite and select Access point as Hutch India(As it is there) and connect it.
