the world is a horrible place

These past weeks have been horrible if you've kept up with the headlines. Actually it's always horrible - I just have these phases where I tend to notice more and look at the news more. There's a reason why I don't like to read the news - people are sick, the world is sick. I can understand why some people would tend to think that there is no God -  because how could a loving God allow all these horrible things to happen? I don't believe this. I know that this world is evil. I know I need to seek Him out and make myself as close to him as possible in order to have the strength and courage to get through this earthly life.
