The Tillman Story [2010]

The Tillman Story is a new documentary film which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2010. The film tells of Pat Tillman, an American football player who left his professional sports career and enlisted in the United States Army in June 2002, in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. Tillman never thought of himself as a hero. His choice to leave a multimillion-dollar football contract and join the military wasn't done for any reason other than he felt it was the right thing to do. The documentary exposes facts that the military manipulated his tragic death in the line of duty into a propaganda tool.
