8 Steps Making Money Using Blogs

This article is for those who are looking to make money from Internet using blogs especially beginners.

Step 1: What is A Blog ?

To understand, blogs are like dairy where you could write articles on any topic that you love. Any topic from personal experiences to fashion, technology, trends etc. I am interested about “online business” and i am writing about it in my blog.

Step 3: How To Name Your Blog ?

Yes, you are going to be the owner of a dot com web site. The name of your blog should reflect your topic and brand. For example, Yahoo, Google are few brand names.

Step 4: Decide Your Blog Title.

The most important step in starting a blog is deciding the Title. Write a great catchy title and to use keywords in that Title. For example, if you are writing about personality development then a good title looks like, “Learn Personality Development Tips To Develop Your Personality From Experts” and title tells the abstract of your blog. It has keywords “Personality Development Tips”, “Develop your personality” etc and your blog will be shown on search engines for those keywords. Step 5: List Down Blog Categories.

Once your blog is ready, you have to decide on the categories. Basically, categories are sub-topics. Listing down the categories may help you to scope your blogging within the limits and helps you to stay focused on the topic. It is always important in blogging that you should not go out of you topic, in order to build an information rich blog.

Step 6: Write Articles Consistently.

Consistency is the key factor in blogging. You should write useful articles on the topic. In general, useful articles solves problems, how to’s, tips to, steps to are kind of useful articles. Once your blog has useful information, people will come to your blog via search engines. But many times, this won’t happen naturally because search engines are automated softwares & less intelligent than humans. You have to optimize your blog for search engines so that it could understand your blog well. And sends relevant visitors who are looking for information. Integrate Google Analytics to your blog to measure the number of visitors coming to your blog.

Step 8: Making Money From Blogs.

Make sure your blog gets enough visitors at least 100 to 200 visitors per day. Now, setup your blog to make money. Apply for Google Adsense, Kontera and your blog is ready to make money from advertisements. Then go to Clickbank or CJ, pick a product related to your topic, add to your blog and earn commission for each product sales. Forgot Gmail or Yahoo Mail for a while. Lets get local.

If you live in Malaysia and want to have local taste of free email account offered in the local internet, look for Email.com.my. This site offers free email for Malaysians.

The sign up if free, all you have to do is filling up a process that I feel easier than registering new Gmail account. Email.com.my will not asks you to put a secret question.

The sign in form looks a little bit messy with Adsense advertisement all over it. I assume The webmaster was in need of some cash, desperately.

Sadly, when I typing my user name and password, there is no way I can view my Inbox.

Email.com.my needs to be improved. The site has high ranking position in Google, I assume the webmaster intention is to earn some money for the adsense advertisement, not solely on providing good email service claimed as 'email portal' as stated in the details, last updated on 27 August 2008.

The login button is missing, I cant see the image of the 'sign in' button we need to click to go into the inboxl. My ranking, 1 out of 10.

Bad. I'm not happy with this site.
