I believe too many shorten URL already exist today. Do you know one of them besides than Tinyurl and Adf.ly? If yes, that’s good because you have an option. Today, i love to share with you another shorten URL service i like to use when i tweet using Twitter. It was Bit.ly.

I know many people already try it and have experience with Bit.ly. It works same like Tinyurl and even until today i still use tinyurl for some works. I also keep using Adf.ly and i start to like Bit.ly. I wonder why too many website like this exist and keep existing. Might be some of them see something value at some website service like this. Who know this kind of service have their own value and can earn us some money. We never know what happen in future. Anything can happen including like Bit.ly. Even Friendster also already got bought by MOL Global company from Malaysia. Anything full with suprice, right? Youtube also even bought by Google. See? Each website have their own benefit and value. No wonder many people keep make unique website by providing great service like Shortener URL service.

Bit.ly allows users to shorten, share, and track links (URLs). Reducing the URL length makes sharing easier. bit.ly can be accessed through our website, bookmarklets and a robust and open API. So, its up to you want to use this shorten service or not. Its free and of course many people like it.

Usually, people use it when tweet at Twitter or update anything at their Facebook account. Some people love to use it as URL forwarding or hide affiliate link. You choose your reason why you use Bit.ly. Can you?

Sounds stupid. But i believe some of you like it. I believe most of you know about this advantages. But i like to share it with you. Might be some of you still don’t know Twitter potential.

1. Make money. This is important point. I believe many great blogger like John Chow, Darren and others blogger have many follower. Seems like we can use it to make money. How? Many program based on Twitter exist todays like Churpchurp, Sponsored Tweets and Ad.ly. I believe you can earn some profit if you have great Twitter follower.

2. Friends. You can use Twitter to communicate to your friends. One of my friends use Twitter as his platform to update his new e-book, his new product and chatting with his subscriber. This is unique way to get along with his buyer and friends. I guess, i need to try this method.

3. To attract more private advertiser. I know many advertiser looking some blog to advertise their product. I also know some of them looking for good blog which have great traffic and better content. No wonder many of them searching like crazy to those blog. I hope this blog will attract some advertiser too. Who know, someone interested to advertise for 1 year. Hehe..

As I think, Adding or implementing Google Custom Search after every post will make more money instead of adding it on sidebar, Navbar or header. It’s as because many visitor arrived to your site while searching contents from search engines.

Lets consider, You have couple of articles based on SEO, if a visitor have arrived at your site while searching the word SEO, then he/she might want to check more articles that you have written in your site.

RevenuePilot.com	Revenue Pilot is a great alternative to Google's Adsense. They provide a large number of different ad formats and also provide access to a unique "CHECK PRICES" tool which allows you to enter a keyword and see how many advertisers are currently offering ads on this keyword, how much they are bidding and how much Revenue Pilot will pay you. This is an awesome tool that gives you as a publisher the opportunity to carefully optimize your site for maximum payout or as an advertiser to research neglected keywords, see how much others are bidding and so make your advertising budget go as far as possible. As far as I am aware no other Ad provider offers such a useful tool.

What is Google Adsense?

There are lots of way to make money online. I personally highly encourage amateur blogger to start with an advertising program called google adsense.If you stay in Malaysia, i would recommend another name Nuffnang. The reason is simple, google is a well-known search engine,they get lots of traffic and advertisers, while adsense is easy to use and lots of marketing experts have already made tons from google adsense alone.

Google Adsense in a nutshell is an online advertisement being put in some html script code on your webpage. When people click on those ads you earn the money. Once a month Google will either send you a check or make a direct deposit into your bank account for the money that you earned (as long as you've earned at least $100).

In order to understand more about Adsense, it is actually related to another Google program named Google AdWords. Google AdWords are those text-only ads that often appear on the right hand side or top of Google's search results page when you search Google.They are powerful because they are targeted.

Advantage of using blogger.com:
To apply an adsense account, you will need a professional looking website. However, if you have a blog from http://www.blogger.com/ , you can actually get the account within 24 hours. I tried it myself, getting an account is easy and quick from blogger, but do remember to post a few things before applying.

Another important point for amateur blog to follow is to read the rules/policies of adsense at the webpage.

Before having your strategy making money online, it is important to understand the details of Google Adsense. When you login into your account and look at the reports, you'll see a few abbreviations, these are important to understand in order to maximize your profits.

1. Page Impressions
When somebody clicks on your blog, Google counts that as one page impression. And if that same person browses 10 pages of your site, it is counted as 10 page impressions.

2. CTR
CTR stands for Click Through Rate. It is the number of times the ad is clicked on divided by the number of times it is displayed. For example, if you had 2,000 page impressions, and those 2,000 page impressions resulted in 200 clicks, that is a 10% Page CTR (200/2000 = 10%).

3. Page eCPM
eCPM stands for Effective Cost per Millie. Millie means thousand. CPM is what the old world of banner advertisements used in pricing their ads. If a site had a $10 CPM it means that you as an advertiser would pay $10 for every 1,000 page impressions that your ad was shown on.

With AdSense, eCPM is telling you how much you will earn on average for every 1,000 page impressions. For example, if you have a $25 eCPM, you will earn $25 for every 1,000 page impressions on your site. Google shows you this figure so you can get an idea of how much more they are paying you than a banner advertising network will pay you.
