I have used this for over a year and half, and it has come in handy on many trips where I have limited outlets. This easily expands on the outlets, and also handily charges my usb enabled devices, such as cellphones / iphone / ipod touch.

Very handy to have, and I highly recommend this charger / outlet extender.

"Misleading but I still am buying another one." 2010-07-10

It "Comes with Lifetime Product and $75,000 Connected Equipment Warranties" as you can find on Belkin.com, but as some pictures show, the stabilizer piece does not work. It would work if the wall outlet face was flush with the wall. I can't say much about how well it is to take with yo on the go but I have been charging my iPod Touch, my Phone (not the iPhone because they are only on AT&T which sucks more than Verizon) and my MacBook Pro along with my Time Capsule. I would like it if the USB ports were on the bottom or the side because they are in the way of the other wall plugin when it is rotated to hang vertically.

I still am going to get another one.

"Warning--Does not work with all phones" 2010-07-07

I have tried two of these Belkin surge protectors/USB chargers and they will not charge my Verizon phone. The phone gives an error message and refuses to charge. After some research, I found this is a known problem with CDMA phones. The unit does not provide enough current to charge these devices. Shame on Belkin for advertising this as being able to charge cell phones, which is the principle reason I bought it. Belkin tech support was useless here.

This is a nice plug-strip / surge protector. I use it for travel all the time. The integrated USB charging ports cuts down on the number of transformer bricks I need to plug in.

One issue I have is the spacing of the plugs is too close to allow use of transformer plugs without blocking outlets and the USB charging ports do no deliver enough current to charge the iPad.
