Yesterday, I (finally) was able to see a porcupine - not a dead one on the side of the road, not the marks it leaves that damages trees .... but one that is alive. :) Yeah, yeah, I know ... excitement in the little things. The funny thing is that this animal is SO unique! Doesn't God have great creativity?! Ummm, yeahhhh! So, obviously, I had to capture the moment ...
I was surprised at how big it could be,
and that it wasn't fully covered with quills.

It also has quite a bit of hair
that stands on end and looks like quills.

It's face looks a bit like that of a hamster or such.
