Cairo, The Arab League announced on Tuesday its participation in a meeting of Iraq's neighboring countries' interior ministers, due in Bahrain on August 22.
The meeting will contribute to supporting stability in Iraq, and neighboring countries are responsible for promoting stability and security in Iraq, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli said.
Several meetings have been held by Iraq's neighboring countries to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and security between them, which includes border control, inflitration prevention, combating terrorism and organized crime.
The countries participating in the meeting are Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Iraq and the Arab League.
