Not Another Pretty Blog

About a week ago I went blog hopping. Starting with the familiar, ending in the distraught.
         Daily I check my blogger friends, Those I have come to "know".
Safe, fun happy, pretty blogs.
   They inspire me in my home                                              
           in my kitchen
                 in my walk with God.
 They make me laugh
   touch my heart
make me remember
I love them all.

There are blogs out there....not as pretty.

Cries Out Loud
     Shouts    for help
Anger
     Questions
 Confusion
          Hurt
    Processing

I know the world can be a hurtful place, but I choose to forget sometimes.
Staying safe  in the pretty.

People are dying physically

            from disease or
by their own actions,

          teens are starving themselves
    others hurting their bodies
        adults are consumed with hatred   or regret.
Many are dying spiritually
      cursing the very God that gives them life.

NO HOPE

Some feel completely alone.
You may know these blogs
you may have visited them.
If you haven't I invite you to blog hop a new way, see where you are lead.
Encourage where you go.
Pray if your a believer for each person you "meet"

Be cautious 

  Be loving

   Be brave

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness  for the prisones,

to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God,

 to comfort all who mourn and  provide for those who grieve in Zion-

to bestow on them a crown of beauty

instead of ashes,

the oil of gladness instead of mourning,

 and a garment of praise instead of despair.    Isaiah 61  (emphasis mine
